The Australia-Austria Industrial Decarbonisation Demonstration Partnerships Program provides funding of AUD$20 million (€12 million). Transnational and Austrian applications open today. Australian applications open on Monday 22 April.
The program will:
- support advancing the development of innovative technologies to decarbonise for hard-to-abate energy-intensive industries
- strengthen connections between Australian and Austrian industry
- share knowledge that will benefit Australia and Austria.
Applicants must have at least one partner from both countries. Up to $12 million is available for Australian industry. Australian applicants can seek up to $3.5 million in funding for a single grant.
The joint call is part of the Australian Government's investment in international collaboration. It supports Australia's ambitions to become a renewable energy superpower and the transition to net zero by 2050.
