Police are currently at the scene of a sudden death at Port Wakefield, according to SA Police.
Police and fire crews attended the Port Wakefield boat ramp just after 3am 11 March in response to reports of a car fire.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire, but located a body inside the car.
Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this stage.
Emergency services will remain on scene conducting investigations and the Port Wakefield boat ramp will be closed during this time.
