Police have apprehended a high range drink driver in Keilor East nearly five times over the legal limit.
Police intercepted the driver at a testing station on Keilor Park Drive about 3.15pm on 13 May.
The 44-year-old driver returned a positive preliminary breath test before an evidentiary breath test return of .245.
The woman stated she was on her way from Avondale Heights to Taylors Lakes to pick up her children from school.
The Avondale Heights woman's licence was immediately suspended for a period 12 months and she will be summonsed to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates court at a later date.
