Police are at the scene of a fatal light plane crash in Yarram this afternoon., Victoria Police say
It is believed the plane left Tooradin Airfield earlier today and crashed at Yarram airport about 3.45pm.
The sole occupant of the single-engine plane sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau will also investigate.
