Girrawheen Aggravated Home Burglary - Update

Joondalup Detectives continue to seek information regarding an aggravated home burglary that occurred at an Allison Drive home in Girrawheen on Tuesday 16 April 2024.
About 7:00pm, three men attended the home and asked the occupant for entry, stating they were police officers. The 76-year-old male occupant let them into the home.
Once inside, the three offenders tied up the 76-year-old man and assaulted his 73-year-old wife.
She received severe facial bruising and swelling as a result of the assault and is being treated in hospital.
The offenders stole a quantity of jewellery and other items before fleeing the home on foot.
Two offenders are approximately 165cms tall and the other one is between 185cms to 190cms tall. They are all described as having olive complexions and were wearing dark coloured long pants, shirts and long-sleeve jackets.
As part of the ongoing investigation, detectives have released photos of the jewellery stolen. Several items are unique and distinctive in their design. Information is being sought on the whereabouts of this jewellery, or any attempts made to sell or trade the items.
Detectives are urging anyone with any information relating to this incident, or who saw, or has CCTV or dash-cam vision, of any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of Allison Drive between 6.30pm and 7.45pm, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
