House fire - Gladesville, NSW

Police are investigating following a house fire at Gladesville today, NSW Police say.

About 2.45am tomorrow, police and emergency services were called to reports of a house on fire in Thompson Street.

On arrival, officers found the house well-alight. Fire-fighters from Fire & Rescue NSW were able to extinguish the blaze, which caused significant damage to the home.

A male occupant was located outside the home and was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics as a precaution. No other people were injured during the incident.

A crime scene has been established while officers from Ryde Local Area Command establish the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
