A man's body has been found in the state's Illawarra this morning.
About 7.40am today (Thursday 30 May 2024), emergency services were called to Wilkinson Road, Berkeley, following reports of a concern for welfare.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District attended and performed CPR; however the man died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in his 40s.
A crime scene was established and an investigation commenced. The death is not being treated as a suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
