A two-seater plane has landed in a Traralgon paddock after its engine stopped this morning.
CFA was called to an aircraft accident in Coonoc Rd, Traralgon, at 8.27am.
Morwell Fire Station Officer in Charge Commander Chris Loeschenkohl said a two-seater plane, departing La Trobe Valley Airport for New Zeeland, had experienced engine problems.
"The pilot glided in and manage to land in a paddock and had actually got out of the plane by when we got there," he said.
The plane clipped some power lines on the way down, which are being attended to by the power company.
CFA crews are on scene, monitoring a gas spill.
Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and SES are also on the scene.
