Police Seek Information On Aggravated Assault - Marrara

Northern Territory Police are calling for information regarding an aggravated assault in Marrara last night.

At about 11pm, a 29-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed while parking her vehicle at her residence on Gleneagles Crescent.

According to reports, two male youths confronted the victim, demanding her car keys and mobile phone. Despite her resistance, the victim sustained injuries to her leg and hands before the offenders fled in her Toyota Corolla Hatchback.

The vehicle was located burnt out in Yarrawonga this morning, and police urge anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity in Marrara around the time of the incident to contact them at 131 444, quoting reference number NTP2400045161.
