Police seek witnesses after affray - Manly

Detectives from Northern Beaches Police Area Command are appealing for assistance following an affray in Manly on Australia Day this year.

The incident occurred on West Esplanade, Manly, about 7.10pm on Tuesday 26 January 2021, and left an 18-year-old man with a fractured eye socket and a broken nose.

Five youths, all males, have been charged over the assault and remain before the court. As inquiries continue, detectives are seeking the identity of a further two youths who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first young person has been described as tall, with an olive complexion and at the time of the incident he was wearing a black T-shirt, black track pants and dark sneakers with a black cap.

The second youth has been described as Asian in appearance with a white T-shirt, black football shorts with a white Rabbito's logo on the left leg, and white shoes.
