Stonnington's premier annual writing competition is back!
If you're a writer or have a special talent for putting great words together, why not enter our writing competition: What's your Story?
The competition, from 1 June until 31 July, celebrates creative writing and storytelling in our community.
Now in its 12th year and presented by Stonnington Libraries, What's your Story? encourages writers to get creative and enter to be in the running to win an awesome prize.
Works can be fiction or non-fiction, based on any theme, but need to be original and not previously published.
To enter the short story and poetry categories, you need to be 18 years of age, and living in Victoria. Young people aged between five and 17 years who live, go to school or work in Stonnington, are also invited to enter one of three creative writing youth categories. You can enter more than one category, however there's a maximum of one entry per category.
There are some great prizes to be won, so start writing now and enter!
Winners will be notified by 1 November and (winners of each category) will be announced by 8 November, with their work published on the library website.
