Police are continuing to investigate a deliberately lit fire which destroyed a house on Cadbury Road at Claremont last night.
Tasmania Fire Service Fire Investigators have determined the fire was ignited by a Molotov cocktail which had been thrown at the residence.
One adult was inside the house at the time of the fire. The man saw the fire and evacuated uninjured.
Anyone with information in relation to the fire, or suspicious activity in the area around the time is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers Tasmania on 1800 333 000 or at crimestopperstas.com.au - information can be provided anonymously.
