Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate John Argento.
A warrant has been issued for the 45-year-old in relation to theft and deception related matters.
Argento is described as 190cm tall with a grey beard and grey hair.
He is known to frequent the Footscray, Altona, Newport, Williamstown, Docklands (Southern Cross Station), Sunshine and Melbourne areas.
Investigators have released an image of Argento in the hope someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
