New Recreation Centre
This will attract new visitors and improve health and wellbeing through water sports facilities in the Newry Mourne and Down District.
It will provide:
- improved pedestrian and vehicle access to the lake
- facilities for water sports that are accessible 24/7
- good parking provision, seating and picnic areas
- toilets, changing rooms, showering and storage facilities
- meeting space to host official events and indoor activities

The new multi-purpose recreation centre is expected to:
- increase participation in outdoor recreation and water sports at Camlough Lake
- improve health and wellbeing
- increase tourism
- support local economic growth
