Sunday 25 April is Anzac Day and commemorative services are being held across the Hilltops Region. These services will give the public, ex-service personnel and those currently serving the opportunity to remember the fallen and to reflect and pay their respects to those involved in the events that took place during World War I, World War II and all conflict since that time.
Bendick Murrell Anzac Day Memorial Services will be held at Bendick Murrell Hall taking place from 9am.
BOOROWA
Boorowa Anzac Day Dawn Service will be held 6am, at the Boorowa War Memorial on Marsden Street.
The Anzac Day march will commence at 10:30am. From 10:15am participants are asked to assemble at the corner of Queen Street and Marsden Street at the Old Court House to commence the march at 10:30am from Marsden Street to the War Memorial.
BRIBBAREE
Bribbaree Anzac Day Memorial Service will commence 4pm at the Cenotaph at Anzac Park.
CROWTHER
Crowther Anzac Day Memorial Service will take place at Crowther Memorial Park from 9:15am.
GALONG
Galong Anzac Day Dawn Service will be held at 5:30am followed by breakfast at the Galong Memorial Hall.
HARDEN-MURRUMBURRAH
Harden-Murrumburrah Anzac Day Dawn Service will commence 6am at Newson Park.
Harden-Murrumburrah Anzac Day march will commence 10am. Participants are asked to meet at 9:30am at the Harden Mechanics Institute. The march will continue to Newson Park, where a Memorial Service will be conducted and conclude around midday.
JUGIONG
Jugiong Anzac Day march will commence 3:30pm from the Police Station and finish on Riverside Drive at the Memorial Park, where the Memorial Service will be conducted.
KOORAWATHA
Koorawatha Anzac Day Dawn Service will be held 6am at the Memorial Gates to War Memorial Park, Boorowa Street.
The Koorawatha march and Memorial Service will commence at 10:30am, meeting at Boorowa Street adjacent to Koorawatha Regional Rooms, the march will then proceed east on Boorowa Street, turn right onto Ripon Street then right onto Bumbaldry Street and back to Memorial Gates for the Memorial Service.
MONTEAGLE
Monteagle Anzac Day Memorial Service will be held at the Monteagle Community Hall commencing 2pm.
MURRINGO
Murringo Anzac Day Service will be held at the Murringo Memorial Hall from 8:30am. Participants are asked to assemble on Murringo Gap Road adjacent to Murringo Public School for the march south to the Murringo Memorial Hall.
Rugby
Rugby Anzac Day Dawn Service will be held 6:30am followed by a breakfast at Rugby Hall.
WIRRIMAH
Wirrimah Memorial Service will be held in the Wirrimah Memorial Hall at 8:15am.
WOMBAT
Wombat Anzac Day march and Memorial Service will commence 5:30am at Wagenbah Oval and proceed to Wombat Memorial Hall.
YOUNG
Young Anzac Day Dawn Service will be held 6:30am on Boorowa Street adjacent to Town Hall.
Participants in the Anzac Day march are asked to assemble at 10:30am in Boorowa Street adjacent to the Young Town Hall Memorial Tower. At 10:45am the march will commence east along Boorowa Street, then north along Lynch Street, west along Lovell Street to Anderson Park Memorial for the 11am Memorial Service.
