The 2024 NSW Touch Association (NSWTA) State Cup is set to be one of the largest and most prestigious events on the Touch Football calendar, with the competition taking place from December 6-8 at Port Macquarie's Regional Stadium and Tuffins Lane.

With 52 affiliates, 234 teams, 300 referees, and more than 6,000 participants and spectators, this year's State Cup promises to deliver world-class action and showcase some of the best Touch Football talent in the world. The event will bring together players from across New South Wales, as well as elite athletes hoping to press their selection claims to represent the NSWTA at the 2025 State of Origin and secure spots in national teams.

NSWTA General Manager Dean Russell expressed his excitement for the event, highlighting its significance in the Touch Football community.

"The NSW State Cup has long been a premier event in our sport, and we are thrilled to return to Port Macquarie for the 34th consecutive year. The event is a testament to the passion and dedication of the Touch Football community, and we are proud to see it continue to grow in scale and prestige. With some of the world's best players in attendance, this year's competition promises to be a showcase of exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and team spirit."

"As we rely on a strong and prosperous sporting economy to keep our region thriving, it is so important that we continue to build and strengthen our relationship with NSW Touch so that we can continue to grow and support this tournament and touch football.

"Together, we all look forward to welcoming the players, supporters and organisers back to Port Macquarie as we kick off another successful three-day tournament."
