2024 Study: Build on Lessons Learned

Technical University of Denmark

Almost all of the new students took part in this year's Study Start, and in the subsequent mandatory evaluation, they said that meeting their closest fellow students was a particular success.

At the same time, the students would like to see more activities across study programmes and more contact with even more students in their own study programme.

"DTU and PF teamed up to organize this year's Study Start, and we made it happen together. Now we need to build on what we have learnt, and we are already planning next year's Study Start," says Dean of Studies and Student Affairs Lars D. Christoffersen.

Most of the new students said they felt welcome and that the organizers helped them with networking. The evaluation also showed that the students liked being told beforehand what to expect at the Study Start.

As a new addition, the programme for the Study Start is now included in the admission letter that new students receive before they start.
