Cricket Victoria is proud to unveil its latest wave of talented young players with the announcement of the 2024/2025 U19 male emerging players programs.
With the National Championships set to be held in December, this year's metro and country squads will be led by Cricket Australia U19's squad members Harry Hoekstra, Archie Lalor, Christian Howe, Vishwa Ramkumar and Geelong's Ollie Peake.
Cricket Victoria Male Talent Development Manager, Tom Evans, said both squads were looking forward for the opportunities ahead.
"I'm excited for the U19 emerging program to get underway, we look forward to developing these young athletes holistically over the coming season and challenging them to continually improve as cricketers and people" said Evans.
"We're thrilled for the opportunity to help strengthen their development alongside our Victorian Premier Clubs and having the players learn from some the quality coaches and staff we are lucky to have working right across Victoria's cricket system."
The squads will be mentored by Former first-class player and experienced Dandenong and Geelong Premier Coach, Nick Speak, former Ryder Medallist and CV Talent Specialist, James Miller, and current and former Victorian players Xavier Crone, Travis Dean and Jon Holland.
