Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond in 2024? Nominations are now open for the 2025 Benalla Rural City Australia Day Awards and will be accepted until 5pm on Monday 2 December 2024 in the following categories:
▪ Citizen of the Year (over 26 years on 26/01/2025)
▪ Young Citizen of the Year (18-25 years on 26/01/2025)
▪ Junior Citizen of the Year (12-17 years on 26/01/2025)
▪ District Achiever of the Year
▪ Community Event / Project of the Year
▪ Community Group / Organisation of the Year.
Benalla Rural City Australia Day Awards, provide an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions that individuals and local groups have made to the wider community.
Nominations can be made until 5pm on Monday 2 December 2024.
Nominations can be completed online (preferred) or you can download the 2025 Australia Day Award Guidelines and Nomination Form(PDF, 204KB) or get a hard copy at the Council's Customer Service Centre.
Award winners will be announced at the Benalla Rural City Australia Day event to be held on Sunday 26 January 2025.
