Nominations for the 2025 Bayside Citizen of the Year Awards are now open, giving residents an opportunity to acknowledge the extraordinary contribution local 'heroes' have made to the Bayside community.
The Awards recognise exceptional individuals and their achievement in the areas of community services, charitable work, education/school development, environment, arts and culture, sport, or humanitarian initiatives.
The 2025 Award Categories are Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Sportsperson of the Year.
Nominations close on Friday 8 November 2024.
Last year Pam Richardson OAM, a community volunteer from Mascot was named 2024 Bayside Citizen of the Year.
The 2024 Sportsperson of the Year award was shared by Charlotte Ryan for her achievements in netball, and Massimo Cassino an 11-year-old athlete with Cerebral Palsy who has excelled in athletics.
Dylan Adams was named 2024 Young Citizen of the Year for his service as a youth advocate for young people in our community and NSW.
