24/7 Service Earns Hydraulink's Sheather Qld Customer Praise

Hydraulink Australia

One of the latest franchise owners of the national Hydraulink network, Chris Sheather of Hydraulink Innisfail, is having an immediate impact with his Cassowary Coast customers by delivering on-site service 24/7 to keep vital machinery in operation for its owners.

"That's what they need up here, on-site work as soon as possible to maximise uptime. I find that after I turn out immediately on a Saturday, for example, and do a good job, they just keep me on for future jobs," says Chris, who has wide heavy vehicle mechanical experience including more than a decade's expertise of hose and fitting replacement and other critical vehicle and machinery maintenance tasks.

His knowledge of the Hydraulink hose and fitting service is based on five years' experience with the group, which he says is widely respected in Far North Queensland, not only for the standards of its work – and uniformly compliance and safety standards – but also for its speedy order response, typically being able to deliver parts the next day.

"The big industries up here - including sugar, bananas and broader agriculture – have some pretty intense harvesting and maintenance schedules to meet, so they appreciate someone like myself and a Group such as Hydraulink with a 'can-do' attitude that aligns with their own," says Chris, whose business also serves businesses such as building, construction, civil engineering, quarrying, mining and infrastructure work.

The Hydraulink hose and fittings network, which operates under the corporate signature "Best Under Pressure," includes 14 company-owned sites in Australia, 135 network partners, and 150 service vehicles offering 24/7 onsite and mobile services. The network prides itself on ongoing training and quality, traceable products, and work. It also provides support for well qualified people such as Chris who, after solid training, want to operate their own business within the network family.

Chris and his Partner Jordan took the step into a franchise so he could succeed on his own merits, providing for their future, and that of their three children, while using his own skills and initiative, backed by excellent ongoing training, and support from a network experienced in the broad spectrum of work occurring throughout industry.

Hydraulink Australia National Franchise Manager, Wayne Abbott, says Chris is the type of energetic, highly experienced trades and service person who is ideally qualified to succeed in a widely varied work environment such as Far North Queensland.

"He fits in extremely well with clients and business partners because he is both a highly competent hands-on person and one who quickly understand different site conditions and issues. This understanding and experience means he can get on with the job immediately, and fit in with customers to deliver the best results in their terms. With Hydraulink's insistence on top class compliance standards and consistent, value pricing, this means he is immediately seen as someone who can be relied upon to deliver the best performance both in the field, and as a business partner."
