Glenorchy police have charged a 13-year-old youth with assault following a reported incident on Main Road, Glenorchy last Wednesday.
Police were called after the girl allegedly assaulted a woman about 2:30pm, before leaving the area.
The youth was arrested on Sunday afternoon following an investigation by Glenorchy uniform officers.
She will face the Youth Justice Court on 2 July 2024.
