Griffith City Council is thrilled to announce its success in obtaining $116,000 under the NSW Government's Open Streets Program led by Transport for NSW.
This funding will allow Olympic Street and the Griffith Youth Precinct to be turned into a bustling hub of community engagement and entertainment.
The activation will run on Friday 22 November, Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November 2024, and will include a variety of events and attractions such as:
- Markets showcasing local goods and produce
- Public art installations and artist workshops
- Skate and BMX demonstrations
- A diverse range of food trucks
- Youth activities
- Live music performances
