ACU Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Julie Cogin has been appointed a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to corporate governance.
During a career involving high-level roles in the private sector, consulting and higher education, Professor Cogin has been involved in shaping governance frameworks across several industries.
The AICD honoured her for guiding organisations through strengthened board accountability and enhanced transparency in corporate decision-making.
In a ceremony attended by industry leaders, the AICD highlighted Professor Cogin's impact on governance reform, board diversity, and ethical business practices.
