Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a man with an additional offence relating to an eleventh victim following an investigation into alleged indecent assault and sexual touching offences spanning two decades.
In March 2024, State Crime Command's Child Abuse Squad established Strike Force Bonnefin to investigate a number of alleged indecent assaults and sexual touching incidents between 2001 and 2019.
In November 2024, an 83-year-old man was charged and remains before the courts.
Today (Friday 7 March 2025), the man was issued a Court Attendance Notice (CAN) for an additional count of assault with act of indecency relating to an eleventh victim, to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 11 March 2025.
