A further two people have been charged following an investigation into a brawl in Tamworth earlier this month.
About 2.30am on Sunday 10 March 2024, emergency services were called to Peel Street, Tamworth, following reports of a brawl.
Upon arrival, police saw about 20 people fighting in the street; OC spray was used and the group dispersed.
There were no injuries reported.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, officers arrested and charged three men who remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 9.25am yesterday (Thursday 28 March 2024), police attended a home on Mckinlay Place, Tamworth, and issued a future court attendance notice to a man and woman.
The woman – aged 19 – and man – aged 18 – were charged with affray and will attend Tamworth Local Court on Monday 13 May 2024.
