AFP Takes Over Questacon!

On Saturday 17 August the Australian Federal Police (AFP) will takeover Questacon - the National Science and Technology Centre, Canberra.

Families, kids and adults alike will be able to team up with AFP Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) experts, who'll provide an insight into what it's like to work as a forensic or STEM expert with the AFP.

Learn how to match fingerprints, examine crime scenes, including taking a peek into the future of crime scene investigation with the use of artificial intelligence and more!

Mini detectives will receive a special 'Junior Forensic Investigator report card' and can complete activities as they navigate their way around Questacon and learn about the science behind solving a crime.

Don't miss the chance to meet the lovable Constable Kenny Koala who will be on-hand to answer questions and educate kids about how to 'Stay OK'.

This event is part of National Science Week, Australia's annual celebration of science and technology, featuring more than 1,000 events around Australia.

Questacon is located at King Edward Terrace, Parkes and is open 9am to 5pm. Normal admission fees apply.
