AgForce is backing a petition calling for dangerous sections of the Roma Condamine Road to be widened to an eight-metre seal.
The crumbling track is struggling to cope with traffic, and Western Downs Regional Council has failed to invest in widening the infrastructure in the past seven years.
In December 2022, Transport and Main Roads mass restrictions on the Dogwood Creek Bridge (Warrego Highway, Miles), forced heavy wide loads to detour onto the road increasing the risk of accidents and near misses.
Warrego MP Ann Leahy is seeking support for a petition to Queensland Parliament.
