The National Farmers' Federation's flagship conference is back with a bold new look and a fresh new location. Mark September 23-25 in your calendars for AgXchange Australia, set to take place on the Gold Coast.
NFF President David Jochinke said it was the first time in many years the nation's premier agricultural networking event would step beyond Canberra, embracing the energy and innovation of the Gold Coast.
"AgXchange Australia is set to be the must-attend event for farmers, agribusiness professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders across the entire agricultural supply chain," Mr Jochinke said.
"We've designed AgXchange Australia to be the best national agricultural networking opportunity in the country. Whether you're on the farm, in the boardroom, or driving policy, this is where our industry comes together to exchange ideas, build networks, and shape the future of Australian agriculture."
The conference program is guided by the NFF's 2030 Roadmap and will dive into key industry challenges and opportunities across five key pillars:
- Innovation - Practical tools and insights to boost farm productivity and emerging industries.
- Sustainability - Carbon, natural capital, water, waste, and the circular economy.
- Risk - Drought, biosecurity, geopolitics, succession planning.
- Farming Communities - Workforce, local services, mental health, Indigenous engagement, farm safety.
- Supply Chain - Food and fibre manufacturing, consumer trends, global trade.
"AgXchange Australia is being driven by a dynamic conference committee with representatives from across Australia and the supply chain," Mr Jochinke said.
"I think sometimes as farmers we have our heads down in the business and don't invest in ourselves. That's exactly what we want AgExchange to be - an opportunity to learn some new things, make new connections and give you that break to think about the future of your business.
"It's important to us this is an event for everyone who is passionate about the future of agriculture, including farmers, agribusiness professionals from farmgate to retailer, policymakers, government representatives, students and researchers."
