Kiama Council has received amended plans and supporting documentation for the Akuna Street site owned by Level 33 property group.
Council received the original application in January and the plans were placed on public exhibition in March.
The application is for a multi storey mixed use development, including:
- 344 basement car parking spaces
- 24 retail premises
- 2 supermarkets
- 82 shop-top residential units
The amended documentation and plans have been submitted to address matters raised during the initial public consultation and assessment.
These include accessibility, height variations, acoustic privacy, traffic, vehicle access and parking, open space management, apartment design as well as other design details.
The amended Development Application is now on public exhibition for our community to review and make submissions:

Submissions must be made by 15 October.
Due to the value and scope of the development application, the assessment and final decision regarding the proposal is being made by the Southern Regional Planning Panel.
