Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's truth-telling yesterday not ruling out a deal with the Greens is no April Fools' joke, Senator Claire Chandler said today.
"Yesterday, when asked if he would rule out a deal with the Greens, Mr Albanese stated 'no'," Senator Chandler said.
"This slip of the tongue betraying the truth is no April Fools' joke for Tasmanians.
"Tasmanians have seen this nightmare before, the last time Labor governed with the support of the Greens they shut down the forestry industry, 10,000 jobs were lost and Tasmania went into recession.
"A Labor-Green Government in Canberra would mean the end of our salmon industry, the end of our mining industry, the closure of what's left of our forest industry.
"Don't risk another Labor-Green Government, vote Liberal."
