Alcock Road Reserve Dog Off-leash Park

Truganina pet owners are in for a treat with a brand-new dog off-leash park coming to Alcock Road Reserve in Truganina.

This $450,000 park will include secure fencing with double gates to ensure pet safety, as well as a drink fountain and an active zone with agility equipment for energetic dogs.

The park will also feature landscaping, bench seating and a new concrete path to link into the network of existing paths.

Construction on this new dog park is set to begin in early 2025.

Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Mia Shaw said this new dog off-leash park will become a haven for residents and their pets.

"We're committed to providing the community with diverse open spaces that encourage active and healthy lifestyles and socialisation - even for the furry residents of Wyndham."

"This dog off-leash park will be an asset to the Truganina community and Alcock Road Reserve."

Wyndham City Councillor for Bemin Ward, Preet Singh agreed, stating: "This new dog off-leash park will provide a fantastic space for local dog owners to enjoy quality time with their pets, promoting healthy, active lifestyles in a safe and engaging environment."

This project is set to be complete by mid-2025.
