Aldinga Beach Man In Court On Drugs And Weapons Charges

A man will face court today charged with serious drug and weapons offences after he was arrested at Aldinga Beach yesterday.

Police attended and searched an address at Aldinga Beach about 11am on Monday 18 November.

It will be alleged officers found a quantity of GHB, methamphetamine, cannabis and vials of liquid steroid. Weapons, including tasers, an extendable baton and spud gun, along with mobile phones and $11,025 cash were also seized.

The 41-year-old Aldinga Beach man was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled drug, possession of prescription drug, possession of a firearm without a licence and three counts of possess prohibited weapon.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 19 November.
