Northern Territory Police have arrested 5 men in relation to a large disturbance that occurred in Larapinta overnight.
Around 6:30pm, police received reports of a large group fighting with weapons on Lyndavale Drive resulting in two men requiring treatment in hospital.
A short time later, the disturbance continued on Flynn Circuit, Gillen where a silver utility was set alight.
Two men required hospital treatment, one of which was assessed as needing surgery in Adelaide.
The groups are believed to be known to each other.
All those arrested remain in custody with charges expected to follow.
Investigations into the incidents remain ongoing.
