Northern Territory Police have charged a 22-year-old male in relation to an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Alice Springs on Saturday evening.
He has been charged with the following:
- Aggravated Burglary - Dwelling
- 2 x Sexual intercourse without consent
- Gross Indecency - without consent
- Armed with an offensive weapon
- Traffic offences
He was remanded in custody to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on Wednesday 11 December.
Police are continuing to urge anyone with information to contact police on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2400124460. Police are still interested in speaking to two unknown persons that exited the offender's vehicle at the time of the arrest on Traeger Avenue around 10:40pm Saturday 7 December.
