Northern Territory Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle overnight in Alice Springs.
Around 10pm, police responded to reports of a woman who had been allegedly struck by a car near Alice Springs Hospital on Gap Road.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to render assistance. General duty officers administered initial first aid before the woman was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital to receive further treatment.
The vehicle was seized and the driver is continuing to assist police with enquiries after returning a negative result for alcohol.
