Almost Three And Half Times Over Limit In Wallan

A 40-year-old woman has had her car impounded after she was allegedly caught almost three and a half times over the legal limit in Wallan overnight.

Officers from Wallan Police Station were patrolling as part of Operation Target when they detected a Toyota Landcruiser driving erratically with their headlights off on Queen Street about 11.55pm.

Officers intercepted the vehicle on Queen Street, Wallan and spoke to the driver who has a zero-alcohol condition.

The Toyota was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1675.00.

She was served with an immediate 12-month licence ban and released pending summons.
