The Vanderbilt Alumni Association is pleased to announce new and returning alumni leaders to its board for terms effective July 1. The Alumni Association's mission is to engage Vanderbilt alumni in the life of the university, encourage lifelong connections and support the university's goals.
"Vanderbilt alumni are fundamental in shaping the university's future," Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier said. "We are grateful for our board members' dedicated service and for their commitment to growing and engaging our global One Vanderbilt community."
The newest board members serving three-year terms are:
- Kenyon Glenn, BA'10, of Nashville, Tennessee
Glenn is a writer services representative with ASCAP Music. He has volunteered with numerous programs, including Student-Alumni Engagement, Graduates of the Last Decade Challenge, Giving Day and CoRPs, and he has served as a mentor for Peabody College's Scholar Identity Model. - Hubert Ma, BE'99, of Moraga, California
Ma is the marketing director at Moraga Pediatric Dentistry. He has been a longtime volunteer with Vanderbilt, serving on the School of Engineering's Alumni Council and Board of Visitors, as well as supporting university admissions, Chapter, Reunion and Giving Day efforts. Ma has also served on the board of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Association of Vanderbilt Alumni and is an executive sponsor of the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers. - Bob Matthews, MD'86, of Raleigh, North Carolina
Matthews is a retired urologist with WakeMed Physician Practices. He has been a longtime alumni volunteer, serving as an admissions and Reunion volunteer, and he is the captain of the Rugby Alumni Advisory Council. - Rick Oelhafen, BA'91, of Raleigh, North Carolina
Oelhafen is the senior vice president and general counsel-international at Genworth. As a parent of Henry, Class of 2026, he serves as a Parent Ambassador and has hosted the North Carolina Triangle Commodore Launch.
Heiki Miki, MBA'96, of Darien, Connecticut, returns for a second three-year term. Miki is the current co-president of the Japan Vanderbilt Chapter, a member of the Owen Asian Alumni Board, and an admissions volunteer for undergraduates and at Owen Graduate School of Management. He previously served on the Owen Alumni Board. Miki was honored with the Alumni Volunteer Award from the Alumni Association in 2018 and the Distinguished Alumni Award from Owen in 2015.
Board President
Todd Graham, BE'96, of McLean, Virginia, began a two-year term as president of the Alumni Association Board. Graham is a vice president, federal business development leader and U.S. Air Force client account manager at GHD. A long-standing alumni leader, Graham has served on the Engineering Alumni Council, volunteered with Student-Alumni Engagement programs and Reunion, recruited for company internships through the Career Center and the School of Engineering, and is active with the Washington, D.C., Vanderbilt Chapter.
