AMA Kicks Off Indigenous Medical Scholarship Drive

Australian Medical Association

Our 2025 donation prospectus for the Indigenous Medical Scholarship is out now.

We have launched a new fundraising push for the AMA Indigenous Medical Scholarship, aimed at supporting a larger number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students each year.

Our new donation prospectus outlines the scholarship's goals and how you can help grow the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical workforce.

It includes a foreword from AMA President Dr. Danielle McMullen and the inspiring stories of past scholarship recipients, such as Australia's first Indigenous surgeon, Professor Kelvin Kong.

The scholarship has been helping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students for more than 30 years, including the most recent recipient, Kealey Griffiths .

This prospectus will be shared with key stakeholders and philanthropic groups. If you wish to make a donation please visit our website .

We also encourage you to share the prospectus with others who might be interested in contributing.

Together, we can make a difference.
