Narrandera Shire Council is gearing up to welcome back the Annual Rod Run in Narrandera this Easter.
Head to East Street on Saturday as a parade of beautifully restored brightly coloured vintage hot rods with plenty of chrome line the street for 'Cruisin no Boozin'. Enjoy late-night shopping, kid amusements, food stalls and live music by Griffith band Trouser Pants. The Easter Bunny is set to make an appearance and the Narrandera Lions Club Train will be running town tours throughout the evening.
On Sunday all the action is at Narrandera Sportsground with the 'Show n Shine'. Take a closer look at the hot rods, speak with the proud owners and swap car and restoration stories. There is plenty of entertainment with kids' amusements, food, market stalls, a Best Dressed Competition, and live music by Melbourne Rockabilly musician Kid James throughout the day.
The light display at Memorial Park Gardens is switching on for the Easter celebrations. Tune in to 93.7FM for the Easter sounds track in sync with the festive Friday through the Monday.
