Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is proud to announce that Amy House has joined its Executive Leadership Team in the position of National Advancement Executive to lead the AWC fundraising and development strategy while the incumbent Chief Development Officer, Shauna Chadlowe takes extended long service leave in 2022.
Amy brings to AWC considerable experience in leading high-performance environments that enable significant growth in engagement, investment and revenue generation. Over the last decade Amy has help raise and direct some $500million to deliver remarkable impacts globally and in Australia.
Following a 15-year background in law and commercial development, in 2012 Amy turned her revenue-raising skillset to the 'for purpose' sector. Amy has since partnered with private and public sectors, influential individuals and collaborators, to deliver impacts across the health, education, conservation and legal sectors.
Australian Wildlife Conservancy, CEO, Tim Allard said: "Amy has a highly credible reputation as builder of powerful relationships and is seen as a fundraising leader in Western Australia. We are delighted to welcome her to the team and look forward to working with her to drive continued investment in conservation in Australia."
Based in Perth, Amy will lead the National Development Team which is spread out across the country.
"I am delighted to join AWC and help play a critical role in Australian conservation," Amy said. "I like to shine light on the right things and the timing is critical right now to highlight the myriad of complex elements that go into effective wildlife conservation at an enormous scale across Australia."
Amy is currently a Board Member of the Ngangk Yira Centre for Aboriginal Health and Social Equity and prior to joining she was the Director of Advancement at Murdoch University.
