Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an animal cruelty investigation at Broadbeach.
Initial investigations indicate a man was observed mistreating a dog while walking on Hooker Boulevard on 30 April.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward and quote police reference number QP2600847541.
Investigations are ongoing.
