Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Anketell yesterday, Tuesday 28 May 2024.
About 5.50pm, a white Hyundai Panel Van and an orange and black Honda motorcycle, collided on Kwinana Freeway as they both travelled south.
The motorcycle rider, a 31-year-old man, sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital where he died a short time later.
The driver of the Hyundai Panel Van, a 76-year-old man, was not injured.
Major Crash investigators are urging anyone with any information relating to this crash, or who saw either the white Hyundai Panel Van or the orange and black Honda motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
