Thirty-one people have now been charged following an extensive investigation into a riot outside a church in Sydney's southwest in April this year.
Strike Force Dribs was established to investigate the large-scale public order incident which occurred in Wakeley on Monday 15 April 2024.
Today (Friday 21 June 2024), a 25-year-old man was arrested at Fairfield Police Station.
He was charged with assault police officer during public disorder no actual bodily harm, hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty, cause grievous bodily harm to police – public disorder reckless as to actual bodily harm and riot.
He was refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court today (Friday 21 June 2024).
Police will allege in court the 25-year-old assaulted a police officer during the riot.
