ANU Science College to Visit Bermagui, Eden Libraries

Bega Valley Shire Council is excited to announce Science Week events at Bermagui and Eden libraries this month.

The ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics will speak at two Science Week events organised by the Bega Valley Shire Library: at Bermagui Library on Saturday, 10 August from 10am to 1pm and Eden Library on Saturday, 17 August from 10am to 1pm.

A representative from the NSW Koala Strategy will speak about koalas on the south coast and there will also be Kids STEM activities, demonstrations and information stalls.

Event schedule

10.00am - Virtual reality and graphics tablets and games (runs all morning)

10.30am – ANU solar observation

10.30am – Ozobots (little robots)

11.00am - Makey Makey (an invention kit)

11.00am - Koalas on the Far South Coast – NSW Koala Strategy with Jess Bettanin

11.30am - Ozobots

12.00pm - ANU Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics talk

12.00pm - Makey Makey.

Note: some activities have limited places and will be run on a first come basis.
