ANZ today announced a range of new senior appointments to its global sustainable finance team, to help meet increasing demand as the Bank continues to support customers in the transition to net zero.
Head of Sustainable Finance, Katharine Tapley, said the new hires add to an already strong team at ANZ, recognized as market leader in ESG and Sustainable Finance by Peter Lee Associates in Australia for three consecutive years.
"These new appointments will help build ANZ's capacity and expertise in our home markets and offshore, particularly in the UK and USA, as customer and investor demand for sustainable finance continues to grow," she said.
- Cédric Chaudron has been appointed to a new Brisbane-based role of Executive Director, Sustainable Finance, giving the team an on-the-ground presence in Queensland for the first time. Mr Chaudron brings 20 years of experience, most recently at Rabobank in Singapore where he was Head of Capital Markets South-East Asia & India and Sustainable Capital Markets Asia.

He started in his new role in March.
- Simon Reid has been appointed Director, based in Melbourne, and joins from ANZ Group Treasury. Mr Reid has 18 years of banking experience, most recently as Director, Group Funding, where he was actively involved in ANZ's own Sustainability Bond issuance program since its inception in 2015. In his new role, he will work closely with Melbourne-based Executive Director, Bronwyn Corbet.
