Community members and families of the Rockhampton Region will come together this Friday to honour and commemorate ANZAC Day and those who have served past and present.
2025 marks the 110th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli, as well as the 75th anniversary of Australian service in the Korean War and the Malayan emergency.
Rockhampton, Gracemere, Mount Morgan, Westwood, Bouldercombe, Marmor and Alton Downs will host dawn and day services, with marches also taking place in Rockhampton, Gracemere, Marmor and Mount Morgan on Friday 25 April.
For those attending ANZAC Day commemorations in Rockhampton, there will be a free sausage sizzle at Riverside Park following the march.
The community are also invited to attend the Stenhouse Park Memorial Service, which will be held in Koongal at 10.30am on Thursday 24 April.

Rockhampton Dawn Service
Commencing at 4.27am, Cenotaph, Rockhampton Botanic Gardens - coinciding with the time the first ANZAC soldier set foot on Gallipoli. Please bring a torch and jumper.
Rockhampton Dawn Service Road Closures
Changed traffic conditions will be in place between 3.00am to 6.00am. Spencer Street will be closed between Agnes and Ann Streets. Ann Street will be closed between Penlington and Spencer Streets.
Rockhampton Dawn Service Bus and Parking
There will be a shuttle bus operating for the Dawn Service from the Fantastic Furniture car park (143 Gladstone Road, Allenstown) to the Botanic Gardens from 3am to 4am. The shuttle bus will return to the Fantastic Furniture car park from 5.15am to 6.15am. Limited parking will be available at The Rockhampton Golf Club, Mater Hospital, and the temporary car park off Agnes Street. We encourage attendees to carpool where possible.
Rockhampton March
March assembles at 9.00am at the intersection of Archer and Alma Streets. Step-off at 9.57am. March will proceed along Archer Street, turning right onto Victoria Parade, into and along Quay Street, through roundabout at corner Quay & William, through to Derby Street. Saluting dais located at intersection of Denham & Quay Street.
Rockhampton March Temporary Road Closures
Changed traffic conditions will be in place between 6.00am and 1.00pm within the CBD.
Please note the school bus and vehicle passenger drop off areas are located on Cambridge Street (between Denison and Alma Street). Under no circumstances will buses or vehicles be permitted to stop on Archer Street near the train line, it is NOT SAFE to do so. Drivers must obey all road rules and follow traffic controller instructions.
Gracemere Dawn Service and March
March assembles at 4.10am in front of shops, Lawrie Street. Step-off at 4.28am. Dawn Service at 4.35am, Gracemere Cenotaph, RSL, James Street. A Gunfire Breakfast will follow in the RSL Club Rooms, $5 per person.
Alton Downs Service
Dawn Service at 4.28am, Memorial Cenotaph, Alton Downs Hall, 1569 Ridgelands Roads.
Bouldercombe Service
Dawn Service at 4.28am at the Leanne Hinchliffe Memorial Lions Park, Burnett Highway. Participants are invited to attend a gold coin donation breakfast after the Service at the Recreation Hall.
Westwood Service
Service at 6.00am, Westwood Hall, Capricorn Highway. Participants are invited to remain after the Service for tea and coffee.
Marmor Dawn Service
Dawn Service at 4.28am, Marmor Memorial Park, Corner Westacott & Tynan Streets. Participants are invited to attend a Gunfire Breakfast at the Marmor Recreation Grounds after the Service.
Marmor March
March will assemble at 3.30pm, corner Rogers and Westacott Streets. Step-off at 4pm. Participants are invited to attend at BBQ at the Marmor Recreation Grounds following the March.
Mount Morgan Dawn Service
Dawn Service at 5.30am at Anzac Park, Morgan Street. Gunfire Breakfast to follow at Mt Morgan RSL Sub Branch, 1 Cornes Street, Mt Morgan $5 per person.
Mount Morgan March
March assembles at 10.30am, School of Arts, Morgan Street. Step-off at 10.45am. Service at 11.10am, Anzac Park, Morgan Street.
CQ Military Museum
Meals and bar will operate from 5.30am, 40 Archer Street, Rockhampton. Donation for Museum entry.
Rats of Tobruk Association
Service at 8.30am, Jeffries Park, Corner Alma and Albert Streets. This is also a
special service to honour former President, the late Tom Wyatt, with a plaque.
Stenhouse Park Service
Thursday 24 April. Service at 10.30am at Stenhouse Park, Lakes Creek Road, Koongal.
