Police are appealing for information to help identify a man they believe may be able to assist with an assault in Sydney's north west earlier this year.
About 6pm on Monday 26 February 2024, a 24-year-old man entered a business on West Parade, Eastwood.
While inside, he was approached by another man and assaulted, before breaking free.
The 24-year-old walked to Eastwood railway station and boarded a train to Strathfield.
About 7:30pm, the victim disembarked the train at Strathfield and was approached by the same man, before walking away.
Later that night, the 24-year-old reported the matter to Burwood Police Station, with officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, Police are releasing images of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, medium build, between 50-60 years old, with a medium length black beard and wearing a blue and white striped collared shirt, dark blue jeans, dark running shoes and carrying a black bag.
