Appeal After Report Of Animal Cruelty - Croydon Park

About 6:45am yesterday (Sunday 28 July 2024), police were called to a property on Mitchell Street, Croydon Park, following reports of animal cruelty.

Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command attended and found six rabbits dead and two others injured. They were taken to a local vet for treatment.

Police were told an unknown male was seen near the property at the time of the incident.

The man is described as being of Asian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, with short black hair and was wearing cream pants and a tan shirt.
