Appeal For Assistance After Armed Robbery - Riverina

Police have released CCTV footage as they continue investigations into an armed robbery in the state's south.

About 8.30pm on Monday 22 April 2024, a pizza delivery driver was allegedly robbed by two men along Fay Avenue, Kooringal. One of the men was allegedly armed with a sawn-off rifle.

The men stole an amount of cash and two pizzas before running south along Edney Street, Kooringal.

The delivery driver was uninjured.

Officers from Riverina Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of two men who may be able to assist police.

The males are described as Caucasian appearance, thin build and about 175cm tall.

One the males was wearing a black hooded jumper with possible white writing on the front and the second male was wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants.

Both were wearing face coverings.
